Lock Lane 48 vs Wyke 4 Kane started at centre and played the last 10 minutes at 2nd row Kane scored two tries The match was played on a pitch which was extremely wet and muddy. Newspaper Report - Lane made it four wins from their last five games to end the season in style with a magnificent team performance. Arran Blears bagged four tries and Kane Wilson and Leon Ashworth each scored two. Ryan Kear also crossed and Joe Willock kicked six conversions. Lloyd Walker, Chris Baker, Tom Noble and Danny Jarratt tackled well and Sam Angell, Ryan Whitworth, Tiny Vert, Mitchell Platt and Jack Middleton were prominent in attack. Lane's tries were all scored through impressive teamwork and excellent attacking skills. Most improved player was Noble, top tackler Kear and MOM Whitworth.
