Kane started at Centre and moved to 2nd Row in the second-half

Kane scored 2 tries and shared Top Tackler award with Jack Middleton.

Newspaper Report - Lane continued their fine form with wnother convincing win over spirited opponents.
They opened the scoring through Joe Willock after fine work from Tom Noble and Daniel Jarratt.
Ryan Kear, Mitchell Platt and Jack Middleton then combined to send in Arran Blears.
Further sustained pressure saw Lloyd Walker go close before Leon Ashworth dashed over from 40 yards out. Brandon Deuce scored next after being put through a gap by Sam Wilkinson Pycock who kicked two conversions to make it 20-0 at half-time.
Kane Wilson powered over for two tries before Lane were reduced to 12 men when Kear was sin-binned for a high tackle.
Hoyland took advantage to score their solitary before Lane ran away with the game. Ryan Whitworth sent in Blears for his second try, Jarratt scored a fine individual try and Wilkinson-Pycocl went in, with Willock kicking two more conversions. Jarratt was Man of the Match and Platt most improved. Wilson and Middleton shared the top-tackler award.
